BodyFast is designed to keep you logged in at all times. So in most cases, you won't need to log out. However, there are situations where logging out makes sense.
Common reasons to log out
- Switching to a new device: Log out on your old device before setting up BodyFast on a new one.
- Wrong account: If your Coach subscription isn't showing, for instance, you may be logged into the wrong account.
- Technical issues: Logging out and back in can resolve syncing or display problems.
Before you log out: protect your data
Make sure your account is linked to an email address before logging out. Otherwise, your data will be permanently lost and cannot be recovered.
To check, go to the "Me" tab and tap the gear icon. If your email address is shown at the top of the settings, your data is safe. If you see an anonymous account, we recommend setting up an email-based login first.
Don't worry: If you try to log out of an anonymous account, the app will warn you and offer you the option to create an email-based account before proceeding.
How to log out
- Open the app and tap on the "Me" tab.
- Tap the gear icon in the top right corner to open the settings.
- Scroll down and tap "Log out."
You are now logged out of your account.
On the start screen, tap "I already have an account" to log in with the account you want to use.
