You can adjust both standard fasting plans and those created by the BodyFast Coach to better fit your daily life or specific events.
It’s best to stay close to the original plan, especially for Coach-created plans, as these are tailored to your goals and progress.
Adjust fasting times
You can change fasting times before or during the week:
- Tap “Edit times” at the start of a week or during an ongoing week.
- To move a fasting period, tap on the green or orange area in the bar chart and adjust the start or end time.
- To add an additional fasting period, tap “Add period” and then tap a grey area to place the new fasting time.
- You can extend or shorten a fasting period by selecting it and using the “+” or “–” buttons.
Adjust meal times
You can also enter your usual meal times in the app settings (⚙️ icon in the top right of the “Me” tab). This allows the app and Coach to automatically adjust fasting times around your habits.
Special options for Coach users
If you use the BodyFast Coach, you can choose a joker day each week when fasting is not required.
- The week will be extended by one day to make sure all planned fasting periods are completed.
- This helps you stay flexible while still maintaining the benefits of intermittent fasting.
💡 Tip:
You cannot shift all fasting times at once (for example, moving every day from 8 pm to 7 pm). Adjustments are done individually for each fasting period to keep your schedule effective and safe.
