Technically, your email address is your unique username. Changing it for an existing account is not possible, but depending on your goal, there are simple solutions:
🛠️ Scenario 1: My email is inactive, but I know my password
No action needed! You can keep using BodyFast with your old email. It serves only as a login ID.
Important: Make sure to remember your password, as a "Password Reset" link cannot be sent to an inactive inbox.
📧 Scenario 2: I only want the Newsletter at a new address
We can help! Your login stays the same, but we update our mailing list.
Contact our support team and tell us your current login email and your preferred new email for tips and offers.
🔄 Scenario 3: I definitely want a completely new account
If you want to start fresh with a new email address:
- Optional: Delete your old account from the app settings.
- Create a new account in the app.
- Data note: Your progress, fasting history, and trophies cannot be moved to the new account.
- For Coach subscribers:
- Subscribed via our website: Your subscription is bound by your email address. If you have an active subscription running on your old account, please contact our support team for guidance.
- Subscribed via Google Play / Apple App Store: Your subscription will automatically transfer if you use the same phone and App Store/Google Play account.
